By using environmental monitoring stations, ETG collects and processes parameters to reduce risks linked to weather phenomena and to protect crops.

The data are processed for:

• plant pathology and guided battle against crop diseases
• managing the water resource for irrigation purposes
• analysing the purpose and planning of interventions of a given zone
• varietal selection and planning of crop operations
• physiological and phenological crop studies
• production improvements to mitigate negative climatic effects
• reducing risks linked to weather phenomena or parasitic attacks tied to them.
