Water quality

ETG supplies, commissions and assists automatic and continuous networks monitoring the key quality parameters and quantities of the water resource, cooperating with the competent authorities in targeted and prompt sampling campaigns. This system also allows the surveyed data to be archived in computerised databases for validation operations, archiving and circulation through: website, local workstations, summarised reports (state of the water, monthly or quarterly reports, etc.).


The data are processed to determine:


• the calculation of the key quality parameters in the water, including: chlorophyll, dissolved oxygen, nitrates, ammonium, electric conductivity, salinity, dissolved solids, etc.
• the presence of nitrates in the surface and underground waters
• the presence of saline wedges in the underground coastal waters
• the quantitative depletion of the underground aquifers, with progressive lowering of the aquifer levels.
